We are looking for a part time self-employed qualified School Counsellor to join our hard working and successful school as a valued business partner. The role is primarily to provide one to one counselling to pupils, to maintain appropriate records and liaise with the Headteacher, Senior Leadership Team, SENCO and other professionals as necessary.

Are you passionate about English, literature and literacy and do you have the ability to deliver high quality lessons and achieve excellent results? Then come and join a high performing English team at Rainhill High School, including Rainhill Sixth.

We are seeking to appoint an ambitious, talented and dynamic Key Stage 3 Co-ordinator of English to maximise the achievement of students in English against national and locally agreed benchmarked targets. As well as being a Lead practitioner for KS3 English, we are looking for a strong track record of improvement as well as being a strong classroom practitioner.

37 hours per week, 52 weeks per year

Are you hardworking, conscientious, organised and reliable with managerial experience and can bring your skills and personality to the role of Site Manager? If so read on…

You will be an integral member of the school community and it will be your responsibility for the day-to-day operational management, safety, cleanliness and security of the academy, and to maintain the high standards of presentation of this large and attractive school site. The position of School Site Manager is an exciting role which will be 50% office based, and 50% hands on, giving you the opportunity to spend time amongst staff and students to really become part of our school community.

The post holder will be expected to participate in activities and initiatives across the school to ensure the effective management and upkeep of the school premises and grounds. We are looking for experience in managing teams, setting up and overseeing repairs and maintenance programmes, as well as liaising with contractors, working to Health and Safety legislation at all times and an ability demonstrate a wide range of practical skills.

Previous experience of working in a school environment is desirable but not essential.
