Are you hardworking, conscientious, organised and reliable with managerial experience and can bring your skills and personality to the role of Site Manager? If so read on…

You will be an integral member of the school community and it will be your responsibility for the day-to-day operational management, safety, cleanliness and security of the academy, and to maintain the high standards of presentation of this large and attractive school site. The position of School Site Manager is an exciting role which will be 50% office based, and 50% hands on, giving you the opportunity to spend time amongst staff and students to really become part of our school community.

The post holder will be expected to participate in activities and initiatives across the school to ensure the effective management and upkeep of the school premises and grounds. We are looking for experience in managing teams, setting up and overseeing repairs and maintenance programmes, as well as liaising with contractors, working to Health and Safety legislation at all times and an ability to demonstrate a wide range of practical skills.

Previous experience of working in a school environment is desirable but not essential.

SIXTH FORM ADMIN ASSISTANT

Are you highly motivated, well organised and thrive in an ever changing and busy environment? Then Rainhill Sixth is the place for you.

We are looking to appoint a highly efficient and accurate Administrator with a positive attitude to join our Sixth form team. You will provide front line reception, as well as being responsible for all administrative and clerical duties, student data management and co-ordinating SIMS for the efficient running of the Sixth form centre.

The successful candidate will have worked in a busy office environment, have excellent interpersonal skills, be computer literate and is able to multi task. As well as working as part of a team, you will also be expected to use your own initiative, be proactive and will have excellent communication, time management and organisational skills with the ability to stay calm under pressure.

Previous experience of working in an educational setting would be an advantage.

We are looking to appoint a Progress Coach as soon as possible to work around students’ needs, when you will proactively support students to achieve the best that they can in their academic/vocational studies and manage issues related to their personal development, behaviour or welfare that might be barriers to their progress or achievement.

You must be able to;

support students in achieving their full academic potential via one to one mentoring, action planning and close monitoring

Prepare students for their next steps, whether that be progression within Further Education, to apprenticeship or applications for university or employment

Plan and deliver a comprehensive tutorial programme, which includes a focus on developing study skills such as time management, resilience and revision strategies

Supporting work experience placements for students to ensure RH6 meets the 16-19 study programme requirements.

The successful candidate will have excellent communication skills and have experience of coaching and mentoring. Some evening work may occasionally be required. Previous experience of working with students is essential.

Are you passionate about English and reading, with the experience and ability to motivate, support and nurture students in order to raise achievement and to achieve their maximum potential?

We are looking for an Intervention Learning Support Assistant to work across Key stage 3 &4 in English in order to maximise the progress of identified disadvantaged students in their English capabilities against national and locally agreed benchmarked targets.

The successful candidate must have strong literacy skills and will be an English graduate or have a strong background supporting students with English. You will also have experience working with students with additional needs including SEND and low and high achievers.

This post is a fixed term contract to cover a maternity leave from September 2022 until Easter 2023.

We are looking to appoint a highly efficient and accurate Admin Assistant with a positive attitude to provide essential support to the Special Educational Needs and Disabilities Coordinator SENDCO and the SEND department.

The successful candidate will support the SENDCO and team with a range of administrative tasks and will need to have strong organisational and administrative skills, good ICT skills, be a team player, have patience and a sense of humour.

As well as working as part of a team, you will also be expected to use your own initiative, be proactive and will have excellent communication, time management and organisational skills with the ability to maintain a calm and professional manner at all times.
